This series explores a quiet dialogue between nature and presence. At its center, a rabbit appears suspended in a field of color, as if moving through a dreamlike garden that exists somewhere between stillness and transformation.
Painted with egg tempera and raw pigments, the works carry the luminous depth of this ancient technique, where layers of color allow light to breathe from within the surface.
Around the figure, vibrant tones of yellow, green, pink, and red unfold like a garden in full bloom. Leaves and flowers emerge softly across the composition, creating a sense of movement and renewal, like the first days of spring.
At the base, a hand-painted stripe of Japanese rice paper introduces a translucent layer through which the underlying colors gently appear, adding depth and unity while revealing the quiet structure beneath the surface.
