Portraits of the Unseen
Portraits of the Unseen explores the delicate space between what we reveal and what remains hidden.
Women’s faces emerge within the silhouettes of birds, bringing together the human and natural worlds as if they were part of the same inner landscape. The birds become vessels for thoughts, memories, emotions, and those invisible layers of ourselves that cannot always be expressed in words.
For me, a portrait is never only about physical appearance. I am interested in what exists beneath the surface—the quiet presence of the soul, our inner transformations, and the parts of ourselves that can be felt but not necessarily seen.
In these works, the boundaries between woman and bird begin to dissolve. One inhabits the other, suggesting freedom, fragility, intuition, and our profound connection with the natural world.
Portraits of the Unseen is an invitation to look beyond what is immediately visible and perhaps recognize something of ourselves within.
