About the technique
Each painting I create involves a unique dance with a variety of materials, tailored to each work.
I often draw inspiration from traditional painting methods when priming the surface and preparing the paints.
One of my preferred mediums is egg tempera, which I prepare from scratch, following the same techniques employed by the Renaissance masters. Additionally, I consistently utilize oils and inks in my work.
The quality of these mediums allows me to build up subtle and rich layers, giving rise to my poetic images.
Each piece represents a continuous struggle between revealing and concealing various elements, ultimately achieving the perfect balance of color and form.
Commission a piece
A Commission Contract generally includes:

-
An Introduction that explains the project, defines the artist and details the specific work that is being commissioned.
-
Payment Terms and Agreement that specify the agreement for payment. For commissioned works, we generally ask fifty percent of the agreed-upon price upfront and fifty percent when the commission is complete.
-
The artist owns the copyright of the work after it is finished, as well as stipulations about if the work is allowed to be exhibited, loaned, etc.
-
An Artwork Proposal that details what the commissioned work will be like. We include a prototype, sketch, or example of similar work.
-
Termination Agreement: This section outlines that the agreement between the artist and commissioner cannot be terminated. In the unlikely event of termination, a payment of 50% of the total price will be required to compensate for the time invested in research and art materials.
